The Project:  new apartment scheme, London

The Brief:  Located in the conservation area and a short walk from Victoria Railway Station the development comprised of 6 new apartments and a small ancillary office for a private developer client.

The Solution:  The development was designed to complete the street frontage, maintain the massing of the adjacent buildings and retain a vehicular access to the rear car park.  Aesthetically the materials and details were drawn from the local vernacular with red bricks, stone detailing and plinth course and natural slate roofs set behind a parapet wall.

The project was constructed with an in-situ concrete frame with masonry infill to provide the necessary sound proofing and robustness.  This provided a successful development of 6 high quality apartments for letting to the general public.
